Lambert was gung ho and improved the club and it's position without any doubt but being a family, community type of club with no big bucks backing he knew it would be hard this season. With Macnasty's ability and shrewdness and Hoots not taking gambles it is a season of consolidation, the big times might come in the years ahead. Build from a firm base slowly and the dividends will be reaped but build on sand and spend money like water and one can see many examples of clubs that did so and look where they all are now. Remember the old saying "Patience is a virtue!" The trolls and pessimists serve no use on here, our glass is half full or half empty?
