I want to complain about this content:

  • I said before the game on Saturday that 0-0 would suit us fine. It was very important that we did not concede 3 points to QPR. Bearing in mind that Spurs & Man City could not win at Loftus Road recently, should tell us what a great shift the men in black put in. I am sure that all-the other teams around the relegation zone were all just as happy with our result. A Villa may have scored 3 goals but they also conceded 3. I believe that CH is taking the sensible approach by being cautious and giving us the best chance to finish above the drop zone. We have to remember that the majority of teams in the Premiership have a far larger budget than City. I think that we should be supportive of the way that the club is being run financially . I do not wish them to throw money around and end up like Portsmouth and several other clubs. CH has not shown that he has a plan B and seems reluctant to make substitutions but after saying that the club is making good progress to retain its Premiership status. Maybe when the squad is stronger and hopefully in a more comfortable position in the table then we may see more flexibility from the manager. In my humble opinion many of the players that CH has brought have strengthened the quad. We need to remind ourselves that many of the players that PL brought to the squad were brought in on on a Championship budget and some on Div 1 budget. Norwich City have made big strides over the last 3 years and to continue that progress staying in the Premiership is 100% essential. Grinding out results is much more important than being pretty. If that means playing one up front and being boring so what. OTBC
