I want to complain about this content:

  • Well said, Ian. Just watched the highlights on ITV and Gordon Strachan hit the nail on the head: Luton had more desire to win the game than we did. And that's part of what has gone wrong ever since we went on that unbeaten run. The players have started to believe they are so good they only have to turn up to win. They have suddenly forgotten what has taken our club to such heights: desire, hunger, commitment and "never say die" attitude. Unless they are all prepared to roll up their sleeves and play with the same old intensity and commitment we are in real trouble. In fact they are now so bad, they can't even score a goal against a non-league side at home. Hughton's tactics are also depressing and may well be partly to blame for this malaise. He is simply not getting anything like the best out of what we have. That is his job. Can he change things round? On the evidence of the past run of games you have to say no.
