Saturday’s opponents Manchester City are next up in our ‘Norwich City Win, Lose or Draw’ game where Canaries fans get to pit their wits against our writers and columnists.

To send a link to this page to a friend, you must be logged in.

Before every Premier League game our panel - including Norwich City Hall of Famer Iwan Roberts, commentator Chris Goreham and TV presenter Simon Thomas - will submit their predictions.

Norwich City fans will cast their vote in the poll on this page and the outcome with the largest percentage the day before the game will be the fans’ prediction.

Guessing the correct outcome (win, lose or draw) will result in one point, with two bonus points on offer for guessing the correct goal deficit.

  • And what makes it all the more damning is that these 78% are the die hard Norwich supporters!!! That is what WE the supporters feel! How pathetic is that!!!! 35 points + and survival ? I'd love to think so... But logic and common sense says "no way Jose"!!!

  • Hughton has wrecked the players' self belief and it will take a new manager to rebuild it the way Lambert did after the disaster that was Bryan Gunn. Now it's time to get somebody in who will take us into battle like proud men not shamble into abject surrender like beaten men walking to the gallows.

  • Man City to win 2-0 regrettably!! But hey this will be a big achievment!! I hear that CH is not predicting a points total for NCFC this season which usually means that you achieve very little due to the lack of positive thoughts....a bit like a Yarmouth trawler without a rudder. If CH takes the same approach to Saturdays game he might just as well give Man City a 2 goal start. The problem for CH is that he has to get 11 players all thinking the same way before the game and then get them all playing to whatever the plan is. This process is just not happening and I doubt it ever will in the near future.

  • We should play like Chelsea did with 2 defensive midfielders and 3 free role att centre mid's In front ( hoolahan included) and 1 striker. Pack the mid without sitting and defending. Leaving full backs to cope with there full backs. There weak at back especially with there full backs up other end of field. Hit on break fast and full of energy with all attack mid's included . Make sure we hassle them and close down instantly. We may not win but us city fans will at least be happy we gave it a go.

  • You're right, Wivenhoe, even I nodded off half through my last post ........and it was only 8 pm. Next time you spot one of mine, just move quickly on to the next. One more thing.....if you're still with me........whatever is happening next Friday, I haven't been invited. Only a rookie, you see. It's possible MB might bring Solsky instead.

  • Just saw Robbie Savage tips us to go down. Not that he's the wisest man in football but it depressed me nonetheless. He points out weve won only once in the last two months, at any rate that will be true by Saturday. And after Saturday. Oh dear...

  • Lol, the best result for Norwich is for the match to be postponed !! because if the match goes ahead they might as well not even go out onto the pitch to be humiliated.. because Man City are a goal machine.. can't wait to see the score at 4.45pm Saturday afternoon becausei its going to be at least 4 or 5 to Man City...

  • Unlikely but a 0-0 would be a good result. Maybe try Redmond in behind Hooper in a 4-4-1-1. We have a weakness in Martin and Whittaker at the back. I don't know why we didn't strengthen that position in the transfer window. Martin was at fault for Cardiff's second goal and several more this season.

  • I`m not so much concerned about Solskie any longer. I realise he can never be mine. What concerns me more is BPBP having his wicked way with Ma Pydsodd`s dumplings. Ooh, arrh, Missus! Next thing you know he`ll be after a bit of crumpet, though that could be cobblers. I deny any knowledge of whatever it is Wivenhoe is alluding to. I wish I`d never `come out` about Olly G. I thought we lived in an enlightened and diverse culture. ;-)

  • I tried to click City to win by five goals or more, but the clock only goes up to two, so I've had to settle for that. This is because I think Hughton is brilliant, and because I intend to show that I am the only true supporter left, and that I am actually quite a nice person, Hurray for nice people, we are so often villified, oh and almost forgot, the other City are a complete bunch of hoodlums and charlatans who would somehow manage to find fault in Mrs Pydsodd's dumplings if they had half a chance, which I'm pleased to say they won't because I ate all of them when Stew was asleep, but make sure not to tell.

  • Oh goodee, it's Thursday....polling day. I read somewhere (probably in the Divot, Bailey and Freezer back catalogue) that the Man City squad are worth approximately 7 times the Norwich City squad. Now I believe in level playing fields. So, in Formula one, all the drivers should have identical cars and they should draw lots to see which one they get to drive. Similarly, in professional football, give all the clubs the same budget at the start of the season to buy players. Until that happens, employ a handicap system. So Man City, who have spent £7 for every £1 spent by Norwich will start on Saturday 7-nil down. To help you Ipswich fans, this means that come 3 o'clock on Saturday the score will be Norwich City 7 Man City 0. Those who predict Man City will win by 5 goals are really saying that they will score 12 goals more than Norwich. Seen in this light, the results of the poll (as they currently stand) start to make sense. What doesn't make sense is Brewer's infatuation with the Cardiff manager.
