Player ratings for both Norwich City and Fulham following their Premier League clash.

• Norwich City:

6 Mark Bunn: Quieter shift than in recent times. Test of his concentration levels. Fine stop from Steve Sidwell.

6 Russell Martin: Admirable willingness to offer overlapping support to Robert Snodgrass. Largely nullified Damien Duff.

6 Michael Turner: One superb piece of anticipation to track Hugo Rodallega’s run in the second period. Calming influence.

6 Sebastien Bassong: Solid display laced with the usual one or two casual moments inside his own penalty area with the ball.

6 Javier Garrido: Did more than most to get Norwich on the front foot early. Calm cross created best chance for Luciano Becchio.

5 Alex Tettey: Usual application levels across a wide area of the field but wayward in possession.

6 Bradley Johnson: Left his mark on Dimitar Berbatov. Threatened on a couple of occasions from the edge of the Fulham area.

7 Robert Snodgrass: Tried to inject some urgency in the second period with a series of counters. Usual levels of prodigious effort.

6 Wes Hoolahan: Difficult to find space in a congested midfield even for the majestic Irishman. Never stopped trying to probe.

5 Elliott Bennett: Fresh evidence that perhaps the wide left role is a difficult one to try and master. One or two early pot shots.

6 Luciano Becchio: Needed better service. Brutal battle with Brede Hangeland. One clear sighter. Good tee up for Bradley Johnson strike.

• Fulham:

6 Mark Schwarzer: Assured presence at the back whenever City did manage to threaten. No real alarms.

6 Stanislav Manolev: Thrust into his Fulham debut. Looked vulnerable once or twice early on. Powerful in the air.

6 Philippe Senderos: Free ride with his centre-back partner detailed to mark Luciano Becchio. Largely untroubled.

7 Brede Hangeland: Forceful. Used every inch of his towering frame. Swarmed all over Becchio. Key man in that Fulham backline.

6 John Arne Riise: Not the attacking threat of the reverse fixture. Appeared happy to retain his defensive station for the most part.

6 Bryan Ruiz: Looked off the pace and understandable given his midweek transatlantic commitments for Costa Rica.

6 Steve Sidwell: Brave block to thwart Bradley Johnson in the first period. Relished the responsiblity as the senior midfield man.

6 Emmanuel Frimpong: Marked his debut with a caution for hauling down Robert Snodgrass. Athletic, destructive operator.

6 Damien Duff: Sporadic glimpses of the evergreen Irishman’s talent. Less inclined to track back the other way at his age.

6 Dimitar Berbatov: The languid Bulgarian was forced ever deeper in search of work. Triggered one or two half-chances.

5 Hugo Rodallega: Tough ask trying to occupy both centre halves. Clearest chance blocked by Michael Turner.
