Player ratings for both Norwich City and Everton following their Premier League clash.

• Norwich City:

6 Mark Bunn: Fine early stop from Nikica Jelavic. Otherwise wellprotected. Dealt confidently with long range threats.

7 Russell Martin: Rewarded for perseverance with two telling assists for Grant Holt in stoppage time. Latter produced the winner.

7 Michael Turner: Solid, dependable and fresh evidence of his ability to read a game. One brave block from Marouane Fellaini.

7 Sebastien Bassong: Calmness amongst the carnage. Loves inflicting damage on the Toffees. Headed assist for winner.

6 Javier Garrido: Dependable show from the Spaniard. Had to curb his attacking instincts with Wes Hoolahan re-deployed.

7 Robert Snodgrass: Corner despatched by Kei Kamara for the vital equaliser. Everton goal apart, nullified Leighton Baines.

6 Jonny Howson: One or two glimpses of real visionary quality with his passing. But the radar also went awry at times.

6 Bradley Johnson: Left Leon Osman free for the opener. Left his mark on Fellaini in a bruising first half skirmish.

6 Wes Hoolahan: Pushed wide left for the greater good. Influence grew in the final quarter. One superb spot for Kamara.

7 Grant Holt: Predatory instincts remain razor-sharp. No-one better in green and yellow at sensing an opportunity in the box.

6 Luciano Becchio: Toiled away for the first hour or so. No sighters of goal. Needs time to adjust to the pace of the Premier League.

Subs: Kei Kamara (for Becchio) 8, Anthony Pilkington (for Hoolahan) 6

• Everton:

6 Tim Howard: No chance with either Norwich goal. To that point in the game he had commanded his area well.

7 Seamus Coleman: Relished the tussle with his Republic of Ireland teammate. One of Everton’s most productive supply lines.

6 Phil Jagielka: Comfortable with the more static threat of Luciano Becchio. Different ball game with Kei Kamara’s arrival.

7 Sylvain Distin: One brilliantly-athletic stoppage time block to deny Grant Holt proved ultimately in vain.

7 Leighton Baines: Inviting cross despatched byLeon Osman for the opener. Did not get things all his own way with Robert Snodgrass.

6 Leon Osman: Right place, right time and a well-executed stooping header from the England squad man.

7 Darron Gibson: Unfussy but highly-effective operator. Set the metronomic tempo in midfield for the Toffees.

5 Steven Naismith: Peripheral influence on this game. In contrast to his display at Goodison Park earlier this season.

6 Marouane Fellaini: Won his prodigious share of aerial battles, but effectively dealt with by the Canaries – using a variety of methods.

6 Steven Pienaar: Class act but looked a touch lethargic. Ran the show at Goodison Park. Here he was a bystander.

5 Nikica Jelavic: No qualms on the effort. Clearly a slim goal return hints at a lack of confidence. Denied by Bunn early on.
