Norwich City’s away kit for the new season is all black.
The new official Errea away strip was revealed yesterday afternoon in front of a big crowd outside the club’s Chapelfield shopping centre store.
Grant Holt, midfielder Jonny Howson and new signing Jacob Butterfield modelled the new kit – the first time City will have worn black since the reign of Glenn Roeder in 2008-09.
Head of Sales and Marketing Will Hoy commented: “The launch event is a fantastic way to showcase the stylish new kit from Errea and for the club to engage with the fans, who also had the chance to get autographs and pose for pictures with the players in the Chapelfield store.
“Sales of the home kit have been fantastic and we’re confident this new away kit will prove very popular with our supporters as well.”
Norwich City will kick off their 2013/14 Premier League season at home to Everton.

I just hope, like the real 'All Blacks', City can come on to the pitch to the brilliant Back in Black by AC~DC! Like the kit - though I still think red is the colour we should wear if a 2nd kit is necessary.

Errea probably have themselves at least a 2year contract we'd have to buy out of to change sooner. This season's new strips, home and away, are too dull to be offensive, but the side performed admirabally in both YellowGreen GreenWhite last season - Errea have a good track record for performance so far - let us hope, even if the aesthetic has slid, technical standards haven't...

Don`t want to not like it but I like it not. Black!? Our away record last year posing as Northern Ireland wasn`t bad. Remember our previous season in the Prem - NO away wins. Cannot see why yellow cannot feature more prominently. "Come on you blacks" doesn`t sound right.

A big improvement from last years Green kit - I like it. However, I don't understand why we would or should wear other than yellow shirts for all games except where there is a colour clash.

Sorry if I'm old fashioned, but only the officials should wear black. I am not going to kop the 'hear comes the ref' jibe again! Much prefer the (jinxed?) green even if we did look like Plymouth Argyle et al.

Whoever approves the kit design unfortunately doesn't have much imagination and I agree with most punters, nothing to make the younger supporters die to purchase one.

Yet another boring shirt!! And timbo I hope your chest doesn't exceed 48-50 inches as Errea shirts only go to size 48 (4XL) after the launch of the Chelsea third strip today our new away shirt looks pathetic!!! When will we stand together and demand that our great club has a proper kit sponsor who will also introduce a decent range of branded leisure wear? McNasty made a comment when confronted by angry canary supporters complaining about the new home shirt being the same as least seasons with the inclusion of a collar and said if we want to be a big club in this league we have to do the same as the big clubs... I.e. change the shirt each season! I understand he revenue stream this provides to the club coffers but please tell me which other big club has Errea as kiit sponsor? Oh yeah football giants Brighton, Woking and Accrington Stanley! Even Chesterfield changed to Puma!! OTBC

All teams have to wear the away kit a minimum of 5 times a season. If my memory serves me correctly, we beat QPR, Swansea and Spurs when wearing that 'jinxed' green - I'll settle for the same results next season.

From a purely selfish viewpoint this is my kind of kit. I can't buy home, cos 6'1" + 16 stone + bright yellow are not a good mix (mind you it doesn't stop Stephen Fry...). This will make me look slimmer + I can wear it in the curry house on a Friday nite without worrying about ruining it with a carelessly placed dollop of chicken samber.......On the Shirt Timmy !

At least we will not look like Plymouth and hopefully play better in black this season than we did last season in that jinxed green. I LIKE THE NEW STRIP ! O.T.B.C.

When we be seeing this strip? How many Prem away games will there be when wearing yellow GENUINELY isn't an option?... Surely they won't kick off the season with it at Fulham. I suppose they could take it to Spurs or Swansea, but where else?

Looks as if they're about to go diving (not in the penalty area, of course). Reckon it's OK though.
