  • Andy Hughes always made me laugh at NCFC. Did anyone else notice his pre=match routine. After doing stretches and exercises etc the squad would always split into 2. Defenders working on hoof ball clearances and the strikers on shooting at the sub keeper. For some odd reason though Andy Hughes would go off on his own and proceed to smash the ball on his weaker left foot into an empty net from 5 yards over and over. Very of putting to the keeper who was using the goal to try keep the strikers shots out. Hughes would then get very angry if anyone hit the ball he was lining up to smash or stopped it going in. Odd fellow as he continued this at every club since us. Was hyped into oblivion and failed to deliver anywhere near the standard touted.
