David Freezer reports from Vicarage Road as Norwich City’s Under-18s are knocked out of the FA Youth Cup in a 3-1 defeat to Watford, ending the club’s defence of the trophy in the fourth round.

The City youngsters were trying to follow on from the success of last season’s under-18 age group, several of which have been signed on to professional contracts since winning the competition, including Jacob and Josh Murphy.

The pressure of being holders was too much for the young Canaries though and left manager Neil Adams to talk about the lessons which could be learned from the disappointing defeat.
