Hi, canarydownunder. Let`s let Pitbull & Wonderhorse loose and use attacking midfielders as that, not as part of a 9-man "defence". I wonder what Arsenal`s Arsene woud have made of that débacle? He`d be kicking bottom by now.

A very bad start to the season but lets not get carried away yet, we have another 37 games to go. QPR game needs to be better and hopefully no 4-5-1 which doesn't work. Give it time, keep the faith. Both Tierney and Martin said in articles in this paper that they need to tighten up defensively, just didn't expect it hapeen from the second game....OTBC.

mel, I agree, if we don't beat QPR sack him. pre season was terrible. Went to Hertha Berlin game and only advice from Houghton and Calderwood was run, chase him, hardly tactical skill. Same mistake as appointing Gunn, we don't need Mr nice we want mr nasty back. why no Vaughan?

I agree Brew - especially as we are currently firing more blanks than a eunuch in a brothel. Lets hope there's a change of approach on Saturday.

There is only one answer to this serious problem - do another Colchester and equally as quick! Hughton out immediatedly and Jol in place by the weekend... You know it makes sense!

"Sparky" Hughes will be sensing the chance of kicking us while we`re down. Much trepidation. :-(

I worry when people I've speaken to today, and listened to in this podcast, suggest that QPR will not be as much of a test as Fulham. Despite their equally bad five goal loss, they were much more attacking in their approach and put in 20 shots (including 11 on target) against Swansea's 12 (8) compared with our abysmal 4 (2) against Fulham's 11 (9). At least QPR attacked and tried to score. We've got to win games; We've got to attack; We've got to put away chances. QPR will come to Carrow Road to do just that, as Mark Hughes always does with his teams, come what may. Let's just hope that they are as wasteful as against Swansea, and that the City team formation and performance are not only up to the challenge but will attack, score and stand some chance of winning!
