Dutch giants Ajax have confirmed they will play a pre-season friendly against Norwich City at Carrow Road on Tuesday, July 31 (kick-off 7.45pm).
Frank De Boer’s side take on the Canaries as part of a pre-season tour of the UK, which will also see them play Southampton on July 28.
New Norwich boss Chris Hughton will have the chance to see how his side cope against a side that can boast the likes of Danish playmaker Christian Eriksen and highly-rated full-back Gregory Van Der Wiel.
Norwich City writers Paddy Davitt and Mark Armstrong have answered your questions in the Norwich City debate at www.pinkun.com/debate

I`ve looked up `Sake` on a name-pedia site and it is a Dutch boys` name....which is sometimes used for girls, too. So I`m none the wiser!

In using "heer" I made the assumption that "Sake" is a male name. If I`m mistaken, het spijt me.

I assumed it is "Heer". Not familiar with the gender of the given name, "Sake"! Het spijt me.

Since I missed out on canarydownunder`s Punfest and I`ve apologised to Heer van der Werff, am I allowed a Flash Gordon quote as "consolation"?....."Dispatch war rocket `Ajax` to bring back his body". Maybe referring to Zak?

Goedmorgen, Sake. Yes, we Norwich fans are delighted that Ajax are coming to play this "Vriendelijk". Are you planning to come over to watch it? I hope you don`t mind all the jokes, Ajax is a cleaning product brand here, maybe in Nederland, ook? ;-)

Soglio, I think everybody at the Club, from Delia, Michael W-J and Bowkett down, are quietly trying to rein in the horse. As Swiss said on another board, it`d probably in Holt`s own best interests for him to stay, too. Grass is greener, etc. Time will tell. Quietly impressive start from CH. A bit of human warmth, too.

Hughton has only been at Carrow Road for 2 days and already got us European football lol. But joking aside, this will be a good test for us, same with Celtic.

It's connected with the launch of the new Norwich cleaner, Best Universal Grit Grime & Effluent Remover. Remember, if OMO don't brighten it and DAZ don't whiten it. Acronym it.

Let's hope Ajax isn't too gritty - wouldn't want them damaging the surface. Perhaps we will only see the cream version (is there one?)

As long as it doesn't clash with the Leveson Enquiry this is a date in the diary. Great news if fact Russell Martin is staying. Some thought he might be on Lambert's shopping list. Why does radio always get the news before anyone else?

Swiss cleaning products are weaker than British ones and go by names such as "Bang" or "Cif". However us Brits do get the odd chuckle. Our HR system was changed and world-wide all "roles" had to be described by their size and location. Accordingly, I was invited to join the "Swiss Role Sizing Committee". My objective was to make sure that I got a big slice of the cake.

After searching through 1001 options, we picked on Ajax. This was a Bold decision, said DMcN but we hope to be able to hold back the Tide and clean up. CH said that this will not just be a showcase for our Aerial Ace but a chance for all to Gain part of the Bounty. It was a new Dawn and he expected a Cascade of goals.
