Norwich CBS boss Mark Collison can't wait to fly the flag for Norfolk when they look to pull off another upset in the last 32 of the Vase this afternoon.

Norwich, formerly Spixworth, are the lowest ranked side still left in the competition but Collison is certain his side's fairytale run can continue when they travel to Leighton Town in the fourth round of the competition.

They will be looking to follow in the footsteps of sides like Diss and Wroxham who went all the way to Wembley and, in the Tangerines' case, brought the trophy home in 1994.

And Collison is confident his side can pull off another shock after defeating United Counties League side Yaxley in the previous round.

'No-one expected us to get this far and every round so far we've just told the lads to go out and enjoy it,' he said. 'The league is different - it's your bread and butter - but the Vase is a bonus for us.

'The lads have been talking about going all the way - they are really confident they can go on and do something in this competition.

'We would like to go further - it would be great to get a home tie - but it's just great for Norfolk.

'It shows there are clubs in Norfolk that can compete in these national competitions still. We've got some great clubs in our area - to follow in the footsteps in the likes of Diss and Wroxham would be a massive achievement.'

Collison, who manages the Thurlow Nunn Division One side alongside his brother Andrew, have got some big decisions to make over selection. The pair have a full squad to choose from and Collison admitted it will be difficult to disappoint some of his players when he pins the team up on Saturday.

'It's not a nice part of the job,' he said. 'There are going to be five players on the bench that think they should be playing - that's the nature of it.

'But everyone of them has helped us get this far and they are going to be needed to play their part again.

'I'm still not sure what our XI is now - I'll have a chat with my brother and make some tough decisions.'

Leighton, who beat Gorleston 4-2 in the third round, play in the Spartan South Midlands Premier Division, a step above CBS, but Collison believes his side are a match for anyone at this level.

'I think we will go there and win,' he said. 'We've had a few problems with midweek games but when we've got all our players available then we're a match for anyone.

'If we get our noses in front then we're going to be very difficult to beat.'
