Castle Rising stayed top of Division One in the Norfolk Cricket League as they blew away Overstrand by 100 runs.

Richard Child and Matt Taylor reduced the visitors to 19-5 after posting 170, from which Overstrand never recovered. Sandringham stay second after comfortably beat Great Yarmouth whilst Saxlingham move to third after their win against Felthorpe, Mark English top scoring with 54. Chris Meadows (4-9) and Abdul Rehman (4-24) bundled Happisburgh out for 83 to win by 131 runs, while Castle Acre stay bottom after failing to chase down 140 at St Andrews, Ryan Sturgess taking 6-24 for the hosts.

Paul French's 78 ensured that Caister remain unbeaten in Two East, as they overcame Eaton. Southwold remain second after dismissing Gillingham for 90, Jason Hall (4-25) doing the damage. There were also wins for Aylsham, Sprowston B and Cringleford Lodge.

In Two West, Narborough stayed unbeaten, easing past Gooderstone by seven wickets whilst Beetley beat Drayton, despite Andy Hawes' 67no. Garboldisham B overcame second-placed Reepham & Salle, and Great Ellingham also won against Holt.

Rollesby stay unbeaten in Three East, as Lowestoft B conceded for the third time and will have to seek re-election, whilst nearest rivals Kirkley & Belton A slipped up against Ketteringham Hall.

In Three Central, leaders Mellis were also inactive as Reepham & Salle A conceded. Wensum narrowly squeezed past Rocklands A by just four runs thanks to Paul Skiggs' 4-15. Malayalees belted 266 at New Buckenham, Ajesh Jose helping himself to 120no, while over in Three West, Saham Toney won by eight wickets at North Elmham, Eusebio Huckle taking 4-24, and Sandringham A stayed in touch by beating Snettisham A.

Old Buckenham and Hockwold A remain the only unbeaten sides at Level Four, the former heading the South West table with an easy win against Diss B while the latter head North West after bowling Boughton out for 54. Coltishall head North East after beating Overstrand A, while Bungay march on in South East, easily beating Colney.

Happisburgh are the first side through to finals day on July 23 at Sprowston in the Tom Bartram T20 Cup, as they beat Halvergate, while Castle Rising, Saxlingham and Felthorpe look favourites to join them. The competition's second phase completes this week.
