Former King’s Lynn striker Jack Defty has agreed to sign for Lowestoft Town in a two-year deal.
The 30-year-old was released by the Linnets last weekend and director of football Craig Fleming has moved quickly to snap up the forward.
“He brings goals – he has got a proven track record and he is someone that I’ve wanted at the club for a long time,” said Fleming. “He is a very good footballer first and foremost and he will bring a goal threat and will obviously push the other strikers that we’ve got here at the club.”
Lowestoft Town’s season ended with a whimper last night at Portman Road as they were well beaten by Bury Town in the final of the Suffolk Premier Cup.
