Wroxham manager Pawel Guziejko believes his side’s defensive errors must be eradicated.
The Yachtsmen entertain Redbridge today, a week after their worst defensive display of the season saw them ship nine goals against Margate in the FA Trophy.
“What happened on Saturday should never happen again,” he said. “There were some schoolboy errors that cost us the game and that kind of defensive display is not acceptable.
“You always look to try your best in every game, but these kind of mistakes are happening time and time again and we have to take care of them.”
Redbridge are eighth in a tightly congested league table, with only 10 points separating Erith and Belvedere in 20th and Maldon and Tiptree in second.
Guziejko’s assistant Sam Bensley says that means points are up for grabs in every game.
“On their day, anyone can beat anyone in this league,” said Bensley.
“We are confident with the players we have here that we can go out and do the business against Redbridge and hopefully get a positive result.”
Wroxham will be without the injured Stephen Drake, who is expected to be out for up to eight weeks with a dislocated elbow sustained in Saturday’s loss, with defender Sam Groves suspended.
