The semi-final of the West Norfolk Scaffolding King’s Lynn & District Sunday League Cup between Terrington and England’s Hope was abandoned in the second half with Terrington leading 4-0 after an incident which followed Hope’s second red card of the game.

Terrington, looking for revenge for a 4-3 Norfolk Intermediate Cup defeat earlier this term, had taken the game by the scruff of the neck with Neil Goodbourn bagging a first-half hat-trick.

Goodbourn took his and Terrington’s tally to four after the interval before the decision to abandon the game – the only match which beat the weather at the weekend. The league are awaiting the referee’s report before making further comment on the matter or confirming the result.

Elsewhere, Chilvers of Division One, were named as the Dale Sheet Metal Team of the Month for January/February. For updated fixtures go to klsundayleague.pitchero.com
