Vulcatech finally got themselves a positive result, and an emphatic one at that, as they beat Horsepigs 7-2 away from home. D Spalding and D Coates notched for ‘Pigs. But Shane Crown grabbed two goals, with the other five split between M Kerns, Tommy Littlewood, Dan Ford, C Smith and Kenzie Corbett.

England’s Hope remain an outside bet for the title with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Gaywood Park Rangers. Paul Richardson proved to be the match-winner on the day.

In Division Two, Long Sutton went past CR Eastern Province 7-4 in an entertaining game to remain in pole position to take the second promotion spot. League joint-top scorer Joe Harrison added two more to his tally for the season. Tim Lowe and Spelman also grabbed braces. J Clitheroe scored the seventh.

Flitcham Bell brushed Fleet aside, dominating the match and winning 7-0. James Ringwood grabbed a hat-trick with Dan Fuller getting two goals. S Fisher and L Miller also found the net.

Leaders Hunstanton took their goal difference to plus-98 with a 9-1 win at Elm. Tom Rainsbury (3), Scott Berry, Lloyd Drewery, Kieran O’Grady, Jack Lincoln, J Everett and B Williams got in the act. M Hampshire scored for Elm. West Lynn beat Maids Head 4-1. G Edwards, N Young, R Gowler and K Twaite-Smith all scored, as did Head’s D Illiss. Clenchwarton had to wait to late, but finally ground out a 3-0 over a rapidly improving River Lane. D Chapman, J Chapman and C Scamell got the goals.

Finally, March Saracens racked up a 10-3 home win over Adrian Flux. Kieran MacKender (2) and Rian Benefer scored for Flux. However, A Taylor (3) and Jermaine Watson (3) netted for Saracens as did A Claridge, Karl Summersgill, James Hazel and J Bothamy.
