Gap at top of Crown Fire Central and South Norfolk League down to four points

Division One leaders Feltwell United entertained local rivals Northwold S&SC but went down 3-2 with Northwold gaining revenge for their home defeat just two weeks ago. This defeat allowed the three chasing teams to close the gap at the top to four points.

Second placed Dereham Town A beat bottom team Narborough 3-1, Bridgham United stay third after winning 4-1 at Rockland United and Morley Village squeezed past Swaffham Town A by the odd goal of 11 to remain fourth. Shropham United won by the only goal of the game at home to Gressenhall and Tacolneston and Shipdham took a point each from a 2-2 draw.

The top five in Division Two all won - leaders North Elmham beat Thurton & Ashby 2-0 while second placed Sporle won by the odd goal of three at West End. Castle Acre Swifts in third spot maintained their 100% record with a convincing 7-0 home win over Hethersett Athletic, Yaxham beat Cockers by the same scoreline and Necton stay fifth after a 6-0 win at Breckland Wanderers. Gressenhall Reserves eased themselves out of bottom place with a welcome 4-1 home win over Methwold Rovers and their place is taken by Saham Toney Reserves who lost by the odd goal of three at Nostro.

The top three teams in Division Three were all engaged in League Cup duty. Mattishall A move back to fourth after beating Hingham Athletic Reserves 2-1 and Rampant Horse are up to fifth after their 4-3 home win over Rockland United Reserves. Great Cressingham won 5-1 at bottom team Narborough Reserves, Colkirk picked up three useful points from a 2-0 home win over Splitz United and Wendling beat Stoke Ferry 3-1.

Division Four leaders North Elmham Reserves were without a game and, as a result, have slipped down to third place. There are new joint leaders in the shape of Watton United A who won 3-0 at Weasenham Wanderers and Yaxham Reserves who ran out 3-2 winners at Beetley United. Shropham United Reserves stay in touch with the leading pack as a result of a 3-2 win at Methwold Rovers Reserves.

At the other end of the table, bottom team Shipdham Reserves won only their second game of the season in beating Castle Acre Swifts Reserves 4-1 and move above Methwold United as a result. Dereham Cockers United beat Tacolneston Reserves 2-0 and, despite leading 3-1 at one point, Nostro Reserves had to rely on a late equaliser to pick up a point from a 4-4 home draw with Walsingham United.

In the third round of the Mervyn Lambert Plant Hire Pease League Cup, Bawdeswell beat Marham Wanderers 3-1 to claim their place in the last four. They will be joined there by Tugas United who beat Litcham by the odd goal of three and Mulbarton Wanderers Reserves who won 4-3 on penalties after a 3-3 draw with Scarning United.
