There was plenty of talking – but not much practising – as rain caused another King’s Lynn Stars wash-out last night.
The Norfolk Arena outfit held their annual Press and practice session but wet weather prevented riders from getting out on to the Saddlebow Road track.
So they mingled with each other, fans and journalists in the dry as talk quickly turned to brighter days ahead for Rob Lyon’s new-look line-up.
And after the speedway fixture list was obliterated by rain last season, Stars riders, management and supporters will be looking for better weather once the new campaign gets under way on March 29 with an eagerly anticipated derby double-header against Peterborough Panthers.
Norwich City has released the first images of its new kit for the 2013/14 Premier League season - and released an online video to promote it.
