King’s Lynn Stars home fixture against Birmingham this evening has been postponed due to a waterlogged track.
Norfolk Arena chiefs took the decision to call off the Elite League clash at around 1.30pm after heavy rainfall fell on the Saddlebow Road track.
It adds to the early-campaign postponement misery for Lynn who have already had three other home matches abandoned this season - against Belle Vue Aces, Swindon Robins and Coventry Bees - at their own track.
Rob Lyon’s team will be hoping for better weather tomorrow as they travel to the Midlands for what was set to be the return fixture against the Brummies.
Stars supporters won’t have to wait too long for their next action at the Norfolk Arena. Lynn host Swindon in front of the Sky TV cameras on Monday.
Norwich City has released the first images of its new kit for the 2013/14 Premier League season - and released an online video to promote it.
