Defender Sam Gaughran has become King’s Lynn Town’s second summer signing to complete a dramatic U-Turn and leave The Walks before a ball has even been kicked.
Gaughran joins midfielder Lewis Webb in leaving the club just weeks after shaking hands on a deal with boss Gary Setchell.
The Linnets boss said he was “disappointed” by the 22-year-old’s decision after “meeting every demand” to the defender’s weekend request of “wanting more security”.
After a series of text messages with the player, Setchell says Gaughran has now decided to re-join Lowestoft Town - who he left to sign for the Linnets last month.

Sounds like he has done a Paul Lambert. Left Norwich to join Villa, then jumps ship there to Spurs before a ball has even been kicked. Hence the expression "Done a Lambert".
