King’s Lynn Town’s trip to Carlton Town this afternoon has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Gary Setchell’s men have fallen foul of the weather for the second Saturday running after Carlton’s pitch failed a 9.30am pitch inspection.
The Linnets are set to return to action on Tuesday for a New Year’s Day Evo-Stik Division One South derby against Stamford at The Walks.
Defender Ross Watson, as a result of today’s match being abandoned, will miss the clash against his former club as he sits out a one-game suspension for picking up five bookings.
King’s Lynn Town will still be heading north next season after the FA turned down their appeal to be switched across to the Southern League Premier Division.
