King’s Lynn have launched an audacious double transfer bid for Lowestoft’s ex-Linnet Sam Gaughran and Stamford centre back Paul Malone.
Town joint boss Kevin Boon confirmed on Thursday lunchtime the club has approached the higher league duo with cash offers for the pair. Lynn have also tabled a seven day approach for Thetford’s in demand frontman Matt Blake after his impressive display in Thetford’s Norfolk Senior Cup semi-final defeat at The Walks recently.
Young defender Ryan Fryatt has also been offered a two year deal by Lynn in line with the club’s policy to secure their young talent on contracts.
King’s Lynn Town will still be heading north next season after the FA turned down their appeal to be switched across to the Southern League Premier Division.
