King’s Lynn Sunday League round-up: Chilvers continue march to Division One title

FANG and Terrington battled out an entertaining 2-2 draw in King’s Lynn Sunday League Division One.

Terrington took the lead through Andy Prior but Sam Garner equalised from the spot. Simon Bird was sent off yet it was the visitors who regained the lead when Joe Jackson tapped in after his penalty was saved. Michael Wood bagged the equaliser. Table-topping Chilvers won 6-0 at Vulcatech. Neil Goodbourn (2), Jack Johnson (2), Shaun Gurney and Ben Oliver scored. CSKA Emneth won 3-0 at Horsepigs.

In Division Two, Clenchwarton became the first side to take points off Hunstanton. Karl Tansley and Jordan Penty scored for the league leaders while Adam Mason struck a brace. A Waterfall (2) and Hardy gave Fleet a 3-1 win over Elm, who notched through Bass. C Walker (2), C Morais and L Mascall found the net as CRE Province edged Flitcham 4-3. Dan Fuller (2) and R Cunfliffe scored for the defeated side.

Andy Wilson (2) and C Young (2) helped Tilney beat Long Sutton 4-3. Sutton netted through Tim Lowe, Joe Harrison and Burton. D Howlett (2) and M Gilbert registered as River Lane saw off Flux – who scored through Kieran MacKender and Kyle Benefer. And March hammered Hustlers 13-0 as D Moore (3), J Watson (3), J Stockbridge (2), A Taylor (2), J Hazel, D Smethurst and J Smith got their names on the scoresheet.
