After a disappointing performance at Brentwood last week the College-based outfit bounced back at the weekend with two victories.

On Saturday they hosted and defeated Westside 76-57 before triumphing 95-74 at London United - Harefield Academy II just 24 hours later.

Coach James Bamfield said: “We had a fantastic weekend. The performance levels were great and the energy levels were up too.

“You could see the difference Ryan Plaice makes to our side at both ends of the court. Defensively, he was able to restrict Westside’s leading scorer to just six points and offensively we looked more composed and everybody got the ball in areas they could be effective.

“It’s taken time which you would expect with so many new players coming in but there is a sense now that everybody is starting to find their role on the team and get comfortable.”

Prior to the men’s headline game at Lynnsport against London, the under-14s and under-16s won at Leiston Lynx. The under-14s had a magnificent 69-16 win while the under-16s were equally impressive rolling out as 54-17 winners.
