The King's Lynn Sunday League Division One title race continued to hot up at the weekend with the top two both dropping points to their nearest rivals.

Leaders Terrington were held to a 2-2 draw at Chilvers, fourth, despite leading twice. Neil Goodbourn put the visitors in front before Liam Manning equalised. Matty Prudence thought he had won it until Kevin Leggett scored a late leveller.

Terrington remain one point clear of Wisbech CP8, having played a game less. And the latter's hopes of winning the league took a blow when they lost 4-0 at third-placed England's Hope. Lee Richardson's brace plus goals from Dean Jimson and Jake Fenn saw Hope, who have a game in hand on their Wisbech rivals, move three points behind CP8.

County-cup semi-finalists Lynn Napier hammered March Saracens 7-0 to climb out of the relegation zone. Rocky Mayes' hat-trick and goals from Vinny Follen, Brady Key, Sam Moses and Ryan Juby inspired Nap's rout.

In Division Two Fowler moved into the top two for the first time this term with a 7-2 win over Elm. Nathan Watson (2), Neil Gotsell, Sam Garner, Ant Munson, Gary Smith and Steven Reeve found the net.

William Burt kept up their three-point cushion at the top with a 4-0 win over a dogged Terrington Reserves. Nathan Mitchell, Andy Summers, Rob Framingham and Connor Parnell netted for Burt who would have scored more had it not been for a fine display from Terrington 'keeper John Stacey.

Elsewhere, strikes from Jon Howlett (2), Chris Smith, Josh Bull, Callum Stanforth and Peter Sanctuary helped Adrian Flux beat Maides Head 6-1. Jack Hayes bagged a consolation.

And in the TGWU cup semi-final, goals from Joseph Malby (2) and James Buhlemann helped FANG beat Maltings 3-1 after-extra-time at River Lane. Jack Johnson had put 'Tings in front.
