Wroxham kick off a run of four games in nine days when they take on Tilbury at Trafford Park.

Despite having played 31 times already this season – the joint highest in Ryman Division One North – recent postponements against Ware and AFC Sudbury sees The Yachtsmen finish February with a compact run of matches.

However, barring anymore cancellations, Pawel Guziejko's men should steer clear of further fixture congestion that will certainly affect those teams around them, such as fellow strugglers Romford who are pencilled in for 11 games in just four weeks throughout March. And Guziejko believes this will hold his side in good stead as they look to fight their way out of relegation woes.

He said: 'I think it is very good for us not having to play too many games in the space of a week. I think it is a very big ask at semi-professional level to have to play on a Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

'I am happy that we shouldn't be in this position near the end of the season and I think that it is an advantage for us having just 15 games left.'

Tilbury sit five points and three places above The Yachtsmen in 14th, but only playing four competitive games in the last two months may affect their match fitness.

At the other end of the table, play-off chasing Dereham Town, seventh, entertain ninth-placed Maldon & Tiptree. The Magpies lost 3-1 at high-flying Soham Town Rangers, despite taking the lead through Shaun Bammant, in midweek and will be keen to reignite their ambitions of finishing in the top five.

Boss Matt Henman said: 'It's frustrating as a few things went against us on Tuesday night and we battled really well, in awful conditions and fell to a late sucker punch meaning we come away from the game with nothing to show for our hard work.

'On a different day on a different pitch I think the result could and would have been very different.'
