King's Lynn Stars will be represented by Chris Holder and Robert Lambert at the SGB Premiership Pairs at Somerset on March 31.
The duo will link up for the first time in Stars colours at The Oaktree Arena as they aim to bag some early season silverware.
'We want to state our intentions right from the off and this is a great opportunity to do just that prior to our first league fixture,' said Lynn manager Dale Allitt. 'We've got the 2012 world champion and one of the most exciting, young British riders we've seen for a long while now.
'While the line-up is looking pretty strong, I have every confidence that Chris and Rob will be strong contenders for the pairs title.'
The season gets under way at the Adrian Flux Arena on Sunday, March 26 (2pm) when Simon Lambert stages his testimonial while the Stars open their SGB Premiership campaign at home to Somerset on Wednesday, April 5.
