Great Yarmouth Town eased into the second round of the FA Vase thanks to a 3-1 win over Wroxham on Saturday.
Just four days after the Bloaters had lost to the Yachtsmen in the league, the east coast side got their revenge with an excellent display.
Yarmouth missed a penalty midway through the first half when Haydn Davis fired over the bar and it looked like it would come back to haunt the home side when Sonny Carey scored a fine individual goal to give Wroxham the lead at the start of the second half.
However, shortly after Yarmouth were awarded another penalty and Aaron Sanders took the responsibility this time and made no mistake.
Sanders then got his second of the afternoon with an excellent finish after some fine approach play by Kieran Hagan.
Wroxham, who were without former Norwich City striker, Grant Holt, piled on the pressure looking for an equaliser but Chas McAra settled any nerves with a poacher's finish.
Yarmouth will be joined by Swaffham in the next round as they won a seven-goal thriller at Haverhill Borough.
Luis Duarte opened the scoring for the Pedlars and although Borough levelled, Joe Jackson restored their advantage.
Haverhill got back on terms again but Alex Vincent netted to make it 3-2 and Jackson's second of the afternoon ensured they are in the hat for the next round despite a late consolation from the home side.
Kirkley & Pakefield drew 2-2 at Enfield Borough yesterday afternoon and they will replay on Tuesday evening.
Wisbech Town exited the Buildbase FA Trophy at the first hurdle in a 2-1 home defeat to Kidsgrove Athletic.
The visitors took the lead in the 40th minute as Will Saxon beat the Wisbech offside trap to score into the corner.
Three minutes into the second half a looping cross from Ryan Harnwell reached Nick Jackson at the far post, but he mis-hit his shot straight to Adam Millson who had time to pick his spot to equalise for the Fenmen.
With just seven minutes left on the clock, Kyle Diskin scored what proved to be the winner.
Norwich United missed out on the chance to go top of the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division as they were beaten 3-2 at Whitton United.
Josh Stevens headed home to give Whitton the lead but Ben Jones equalised before George Mrozek put the home side back in front. Liam Jackson's deflected free-kick made it 2-2 before half-time but 16 minutes from time Jack Newman's deflected effort gave Whitton the points.
Goals from Ross Gilfedder and Ryan Fuller gave Gorleston victory at home to Haverhill Rovers.
In the First Division Jack Imrie got the winner as Harleston Town won 1-0 at Diss Town.
Payton Swatman was at the double as Norwich CBS gained a point on the road at March Town United, whose goals came from Toby Allen and Craig Gillies. Ben Thompson was on target but couldn't stop Mulbarton falling to a 2-1 defeat at home to Lakenheath whilst Fakenham Town won 3-0 at Needham Market Reserves. Alby Matthews (2) and Connor Laskey got the goals for the Ghosts.
