CEYMS C lost 3-7 to Wensum C, with Sean Molloy and Chris Jones in excellent form.

It’s still very competitive between the four top teams in Premier B, as they yo-yo up and down. This week it’s Wensum E’s turn to be back on top with Gothic B following close behind. Steve Pendle played well for his maximum in Wensum E’s 9-1 win over Foxwood D. Robert King saved the whitewash in beating Ian Brown 11-9 in the fifth. A strong UEA B side took control of their match early on, however a resilient Wensum F side came back at the end for a well deserved point. Congratulations to Rachel Thompson for winning her first maximum of the season,
securing victory for UEA.

Hospital Drifters got a point against top team in Division One, UEA C, going down 3-7.

Maximums from Tony Park and Nigel Metcalf with a singles win for Paul Brown secured four valuable points for Wensum G in a spirited 8-2 encounter against Rosebery Rd. CEYMS E continued their good recent run with a 6-4 won over NCC A. Foxwood E had a splendid 7-3 win against Harriers D. Once again some close games but a maximum for Jason Evans, well supported by Peter Wright and Harold Chapman ensured the victory. Taverham B lost 4-6 to Foxwood F. Game of the night was Trevor Johnson’s 15-13 win in the fourth to Kevin Armstrong.

Division Two leaders The Originals had a good 7-3 win over Dynamic Rams. Foxwood H at last showed their potential by beating CEYMS F 6-4. Adrian Land again showing what a good player he is with a fine maximum. Gothic D battled out a fine draw at home to Taverham C.

Thorpe have lost top spot in Division Three but a 7-3 victory over Fairfield means they could still overtake leaders UEA D once they play their games in hand.
