Wisbech Town joint boss Dick Creasey says he will not accept anything less than wins in all of his side's last five games of the season.

Creasey is disappointed with the performances of his troops since they were knocked out in the quarter-final of the FA Vase. They have lost three and drawn one since then.

On Tuesday, they took an early lead through Tony Battersby but shipped two second-half goals to lose 2-1 to Deeping Rangers in the UCL Premier Division at the Elgood's Fenland Stadium.

It was the latest in a recent string of below-par displays from Town.

Creasey said: 'We once again played for one half. In the first half we did OK. We took an early lead and were in control of the game.

'When we went in at half-time, it looked like there was only going to be one winner.

'But in the second half we didn't perform. I was very frustrated about it and I left the players in no doubt after the game about how I felt. It will not be accepted.

'We have five games left this season and nothing less than five wins will do.'

Creasey said his side's lethargic performances are letting the passionate Fenmen support down.

He added: 'When people pay good money to watch us it is not right to perform like we are. I will be trying my hardest to put things right.'

Wisbech, who sit eighth in the league, host second-bottom Harborough Town tomorrow.

When the two sides met in September, the Fenmen cruised to a 3-0 win.

Creasey said: 'I can't make too many changes to the side because we have a small squad. We are down to the bare bones but we need to soldier on.

'If we can't get a result against Harborough, then something will have to be done.'

The Fenmen chief is hoping new signing Billy Smith can provide the spark to reignite Town's campaign.

Pacy wideman Billy Smith is embarking on his fourth spell with the Fenmen after a stint at Peterborough Northern Star.

The 27 year-old has also played for King's Lynn Town, Dereham Town, Soham Town Rangers and March Town United.

Creasey said: 'He is very similar to Tom James, who we have missed since he moved to Australia. We are delighted to get him. He has a great goal scoring record this year.'
