Thetford Town have been handed a home draw in the second round of the FA Vase against Wisbech Town if they can see off Debenham LC in their first round replay on Tuesday night.

The Brecklanders travel to Suffolk to see if they can finish the job against Thurlow Ninn First Division side Debenham after a 1-1 draw at Mundford Road on Saturday. Tanner Call getting Thetford’s goal.

Wisbech will be confident of advancing in the competition after their impressive 4-0 win in the first round against runaway Thurlow Nunn Premier Division leaders Felixstowe & Walton. The Seasiders are 17 points clear at the top in their league but it didn’t faze the Fenmen as goals from Alex Beck, Jon Fairweather, Michael Frew and an own goal secured their passage.

Norwich CBS, who saw off Oxhey Jets in the first round thanks to Matthew Doyle’s goal, will go to Wisbech St Mary whilst Gorleston have landed a home tie against Framlingham.

All ties are due to take place on Saturday, November 11.
