The side, captained by 16-year-old Jason Reynolds, recorded an emphatic win over Brooke in their final match. They lost only one game during the season and finished 17 points clear of last year’s winners, Great Witchingham.

Fakenham had an outside chance of pipping Swardeston to the title going into their final game, but they lost to Vauxhall Mallards by five runs to finish third. Old Buckenham were fourth, followed by Mallards, Brooke, Hethersett & Tas Valley and Acle.

Cup matches – including powerplays for the first time – started this week.
