Goals from Ben Welham and an own goal earned Spixworth the points against Loddon United, winning 2-1, Alex Brown getting the other goal.
The result leaves Spixworth in second place but needing to win their last three games by a large margin to catch Acle and stop them from retaining the Sterry Cup.
Dersingham Rovers slipped to fourth, losing 1-0 at home to St Andrews, scorer Scott Woodgate. Wayne Twomlow scored for Kirkley & Pakefield Reserves, but they drew 1-1 with Wymondham Town, their scorer was Calum Webb.
A Ben Graver goal earned Cromer Town a 1-0 win over Norwich CEYMS. Caister went on a 9-0 goal spree against Sheringham, scorers Jason Thompson (3), Adam Thompson (2), Garrett Ward (2), Adam Bartram and Jamie Long.
In Division One, the top-of-the-table clash between leaders Long Stratton and second-placed Harleston Town ended in a 1-1 draw, with goals from John Curtis and Jake Imrie for the visitors. This means both teams are promoted, but either could still win the title.
