Alfreton Town 1 King's Lynn Town 1

King’s Lynn Town stretched their unbeaten run to five games with a point in Derbyshire.

Cameron Hargreaves put the visitors ahead on 19 minutes, the midfielder picking up Owen Devonport’s through ball and chipping it past the goalkeeper.

But Lynn’s hopes of making it three away victories on the spin were ended on 74 minutes when Alfreton sub Jake Day earned his side a point.

The point keeps Lynn out of the relegation zone in the National League North, thanks in part to neighbours Peterborough Sports, who won 3-0 at Banbury, who now slip into the bottom four, behind Lynn on goal difference. The big winners on the night, though, were Rushall, who jumped up to 18th, two places above Lynn, after a surprise 4-1 win at Farsley Celtic.

Darlington did their survival hopes a power of good with a 3-1 win away to Curzon Ashton, which leaves them three points behind Lynn.
