Building contractors can find out about opportunities to work with a retirement home developer.
McCarthy and Stone will be highlighting upcoming projects across the county as it invests in the area and is hoping to form partnerships with local tradespeople including bricklayers, scaffolders and groundworkers. The housebuilder is holding a Partnership Opportunities Day on Tuesday, June 27, at Barnham Broom Hotel from 9am to 3pm.
Potential and current developments include sites at Eaton, Wymondham, North Walsham, Sheringham and Hunstanton.
Matt Wills, deputy managing director at McCarthy and Stone East Midlands, said: 'Our commitment to sourcing its tradespeople from the local work-pool will provide a welcome boost for the Norwich community, and the importance of employing a local workforce cannot be underestimated.'
