The 7th annual Archant Norfolk Recruitment awards was a glitzy, black tie evening with a champagne reception followed by dinner.

The awards, first organised by Archant Norfolk in 2001, have become an established annual event on the recruitment calendar. More than 300 people, including staff from recruitment agencies, human resource departments and advertising agencies, attended the awards night. The competition grows ever stronger with each year as does the popularity of the event.
This is a unique opportunity for everyone involved in the recruitment industry to gather in recognition of the many talented individuals and teams in our region. The sponsors support the categories, external judges are selected from various local industries.
Judges play a bigger role
Our judges this year agreed to play an even bigger part ahead of the final judging day. Visits to the entrants for the categories of Best Employer, Best Consultant & Best Team took place (by arrangement) during the period 20th – 28th September 2007.
This year judging was a more transparent process for assessing, short-listing and determining results by the mentoring of judges and measurable criteria. A steering group which includes both Archant Norfolk and representatives from the recruitment industry is set up to ensure the event is improved year on year.
