Pupils of all ages from Cliff Park Junior School in Gorleston have covered more than 380 miles in a day.
The Golden Mile is an initiative designed to encourage physical activity whereby children are challenged to complete a 50 mile distance during the school year.
Children from all years took to the golden mile track, as well as some adults, with participants electing to walk, jog or run the distance.
In total, 387.57 miles was covered by the school and Miss Dawson said: “A massive well done to all that took part.”
The event takes place throughout the year at schools across the UK, offering an inclusive, safe and measurable form of physical activity for children.
The activity takes place within the grounds of the school and the aim is to inspire and encourage participants with a focus on fun, rewarding personal achievement, raising money and healthy competition.
