A brownfield site on King’s Lynn’s waterfront could be turned into sheltered housing.

Developer McCarthy & Stone has applied to build 37 retirement appartments on the former grain silos site, on South Quay.

In a statement accompanying its planning application, the firm states: “Private independent living schemes play a vital part in the life of the local communities.
