About 29 children and their parents took part in the day of festivities on Saturday at the North City Children’s Centre in Angel Road.

They enjoyed an Easter trail and other activities, and Keith Driver, the Lord Mayor of Norwich, also attended the event to join in the fun.

Julie Brociek-Coulton, from Sewell Toy Library, said that everyone had a lovely time and that each of the children went home with a little basket of Easter eggs.

The Sewell Toy Library first opened in February 2005 and was orginally based at the Lazar House, in Sprowston Road, and then Christchurch Church Hall, in Magdalen Road. Now it is at North City Children’s Centre from 10.30am until 12.30pm every Saturday in term time and costs £3 for a family to join. All of the toys are for children aged up to five years.

The library will next open after Easter on Saturday, April 26 at 10.30am and everyone is welcome.
