The seven dwarfs and other members of the Snow White pantomime cast joined youngsters for a very special tea party at Norwich Theatre Royal.
The guests of honour were young people who have lost loved ones and have been supported by Nelson’s Journey, a Norfolk-based charity that aims to bring back smiles to bereaved children.
At yesterday’s event they enjoyed meeting the Snow White cast before watching them take to the stage in the show.
Nine-year-old Annie Killick, from Great Yarmouth, was one of the guests.
She said: “I really enjoyed the party. I got the chance to meet Snow White which was great. She was really nice and the main character in it. I also got to meet everyone else. It was great.”
The party and pantomime visit was sponsored by Norwich-based legal practice Rogers and Norton.
Graham Knights, of Rogers and Norton, said: “It is fantastic seeing the smiles on the children’s faces. The event gels together extremely well and it is fantastic to be able to give them a few hours away from the sad situations they are in.”
John Bultitude, of Norwich Theatre Royal, said: “The cast have had a wonderful time spending time with the young people and their families who are helped by Nelson’s Journey. It is the perfect premiere to the panto performance and the whole party has had a fantastic atmosphere.”
