Young man unconscious with serious head injuries after Sheringham incident - Holt area trio arrested

A man in his 20s remains unconscious in Addenbrooke’s Hospital with a serious head injury today after an incident in Sheringham shortly after midnight.

He was found unconscious on the main road outside the resort’s Dunstable Arms pub, Cromer Road, at about 12.30am.

Two other men, also in their 20s, were found with injuries near by.

Three men from the Holt area, two in their late 20s and one in his late teens, have been arrested in connection with the incident and are currently in Police Investigation Centres across the county awaiting interview.

All three injured men were taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital where one was treated for serious facial injuries and one for hand injuries. They have both since been discharged.

The unconscious third man was transferred to Addenbrooke’s where his condition is described as stable.
