Saffey is a dainty, pretty mare with a joy for life and she approaches her work with great enthusiasm.
She arrived at World Horse Welfare’s rehoming centre at Hall Farm, Snetterton, as a welfare concern in 2011, after her owner collected more than 20 horses but did not have the time, money or facilities to care for them properly.
Saffey is a safe and generally sensible pony, although she can be a little sharp and she gets a bit stressed in new situations.
She is unable to do any jumping but she is quite capable of most other activities. She is a keen and forward-going ride who will suit a confident, established child rider (or a small adult) who will keep calm and give Saffey confidence.
Saffey is a lovely, polite lady with a sweet nature and she is easy to handle. She is a gregarious pony who gets on well with her field companions. This brilliant and genuine little mare will be a joy to have around.
