Emergency services were called to the incident, on the B1145 junction with Henry Page Road, just outside Aylsham, at about 1.50pm this afternoon.

Firefighters from Aylsham, Reepham and North Walsham used hydraulic rescue equipment to free the woman. An off-duty GP was also at the scene, together with land and air ambulances.

The woman was flown by the East Anglian Air Ambulance to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital as a precaution. No other vehicle was involved.
