A woman was taken to hospital to be treated for cuts after a three vehicle crash at Roydon which led to the road being closed for more than three hours.

Emergency services, including fire crews from Diss, Eye and Carrow, were called to reports of a crash involving two cars and a lorry on the A1066 shortly before 3.30pm today.

Firefighters manually assisted a casualty from one of the vehicles.

A spokesman in the Norfolk police control room said it appeared injuries were minor although a woman was taken to hospital in Bury St Edmunds to be treated for cuts.

The road reopened at 7pm.
