A woman in her 30s has been airlifted to hospital by the East Anglian Air Ambulance after she fell from a horse in Geldeston, near Beccles, earlier today.
Dr Auden Langhelle and Critical Care Paramedic Rod Wells were flown to the scene, aboard Anglia One, by Captain Neil Waller from their base at Norwich Airport.
The patient was treated at the scene before she was airlifted to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, arriving seven minutes after they took off from the scene. Her condition is described as stable.
Nearly 3,000 people have supported a Facebook campaign demanding safety improvements on the A47 near Dereham set up after the latest fatal crash.
