Paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service and the East Anglian Air Ambulance were called at 7.30am on Sunday, December 16, to the store on the outskirts of the town.

It is believed the woman worked at the supermarket, which was not open at the time.

An ambulance service spokeswoman confirmed this week that one land ambulance and one rapid response vehicle were called after the woman suffered a suspected cardiac arrest.

She added that the patient died at the store.

A statement from the air ambulance charity said: “The crew of Anglia One were called out at 7.30am using the rapid response vehicle.

“They attended a 50-year-old lady in cardiac arrest. Very sadly, the lady did not survive.

“We send our condolences to her family and friends.”

A Norfolk police spokeswoman said officers were called to the store just before 8.15am and left at 10.30am.

She added the incident was not being treated as suspicious.

The Norfolk coroner’s office said the death would not be subject to an inquest because the woman died of natural causes.
