The 34-year-old woman was treated by medics from the East Anglian Air Ambulance this afternoon, after it landed in her garden.
She had suffered neck and back injuries after falling down the stairs at her home just before 1pm.
Anglia Two’s crew of Dr Tim Lightfoot and critical care paramedic Jemma Varela gave the woman pain relief, so she could be moved from the scene.
She was then flown to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn for further treatment. Her condition on arrival at the QEH was described as stable.
