A woman in her 80s was airlifted to hospital from Bacton yesterday after becoming unwell.
East Anglian Air Ambulance crew Dr Chris Smith and critical care paramedic Mark Milsom were flown to the scene and landed on the beach nearby.
The patient was treated at the scene before she was airlifted to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. Her condition is described as stable.
The air ambulance also went to the aid of a woman in her 90s following a “medical episode” in North Walsham.
The crew assisted the land ambulance staff who were already with the patient before she was taken, by road, to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further treatment. Her condition is unknown.
Naturists are to be banned from a nationally-renowned Norfolk beach following complaints about anti-social behaviour committed in the area.
