A woman who died in a car accident last week has been named as 66-year-old Carole Broom.
Mrs Broom from Chestnut Avenue, North Walsham, died on Friday March 15 in a car crash on the B1150 Norwich Road in Horstead.
He husband Keith was in the passenger seat of their blue Vauxhall Agila and suffered a broken leg.
The collision happened at about 1.50pm when Mrs Broom’s Vauxhall collided head-on with a 1973 red Rover 3500cc
The male driver of the Rover suffered serious head, chest and leg injuries and was airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.
The opening of Mrs Broom’s inquest this morning heard she had died from multiple injuries at the scene of the crash. The inquest was adjourned.
